About this time digital cameras started to be introduced. At first, they were not anywhere near conventional film cameras, but I sensed another opportunity. I jumped in again and learned another new skill set, and since PhotoShop has always been my main passion — here was another service I could offer clients. I became a full-time photographer utilizing the latest DSLR and strobe lighting gear. And then Canon introduced the 5D Mark II camera. It had the ability to shoot video! High-end video, and with all the benefits of the pro lenses I already used in my studio. Digital HD video was the next opportunity, and now it has moved into 4K and above resolutions. Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve were the new tools for editing and color grading video.

I had come full circle. My first job out of college was as a grip on a video crew. Now I own 4K camcorders, pro level audio recording microphones and LED lighting. Another creative skill to add to the toolbox.

Currently I now work as a freelance consultant and can offer a wide variety of expertise. many clients come to me and are confused on where to start with an overall marketing strategy that includes online and prints, as well as social media and video channels.
